Enquête sur la discrimination sur le marché du travail en France

The aim of the project was to obtain precise information on the extent and forms of discrimination against migrant workers in access to employment in France. The project intended to raise awareness of the social problem of unlawful discrimination and contribute to changing attitudes and actual behaviour. The main objectives of the research project were : • Raising awareness among government authorities, social partners and the public. • Laying the basis for targeted action to combat discrimination more effectively. • Motivating concrete legislative, policy and practical anti-discrimination initiatives. Contributing to changing attitudes and behaviour of employers, trade unions and the general public towards ensuring equality of opportunity and treatment between national and immigrant (origin) workers.
