This project is an addendum for the extension of MEX.02.050.USA, with the same principal objectives. The main objective is to contribute to the prevention and elimination of commercial sexual exploitation of children in Mexico, through four general strategies: 1. Awareness raising, through research, mass media, communication strategies of ILO counterparts, etc. 2. Legislative reform, through advisory services and lobbying. 3. Identification of networks of exploiters, through training of law enforcement personnel. 4. Direct attention to victims and children at risk in three high-risk areas: Tijuana (migration), Guadalajara (tourism) and Acapulco (tourism).
