Advancing Fair Globalization
The Global Union Research Network (GURN) promotes and broadens research and debate about the social dimension of globalization and the application of international labour standards through global networks for trade unions; and it facilitates information sharing and knowledge management on policy concepts and best practice of trade unions to contribute to development strategies based on fair rules, decent work and full respect for core labour standards. The GURN strengthens the ability of trade unions to represent the interests of working people and their families in the social and economic policy development process of their societies competently in particular concerning core labour standards, poverty alleviation, decent employment, transnational companies and new forms of international industrial relations.
