Promoting Sound Industrial Relations at the Workplace and Strengthening the Capacity of Industrial Relations Actors

The project will contribute to the development of sound industrial relations at all levels, including the growth of genuine collective bargaining, industrial relations institutions, and prevention and settlement of disputes, with a particular emphasis on Viet Nam’s private sector. Project main activities are focused on developing policies and capacity to carry out promotion of democratic and harmonious practices of collective bargaining throughout the country so that democratic and harmonious practices of collective bargaining including wage negotiation will have become more widely used as a mechanism to jointly determine terms and conditions of employment in a selected number of industries and localities, and tripartite partners – the Government, and workers’ and employers’ organizations.
