Entrepreneurship Education - Know about Business

The project will contribute towards the creation of employment opportunities by fostering an enterprise culture in Syria and promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among youth. The immediate objective of the project is: KAB tested and assessed as an entrepreneurship education and business start-up programme for young Syrian women and men going through the vocational and general upper-secondary educational system as well as tertiary education. Through the integration of entrepreneurship education the project will: a) create awareness of enterprises and self-employment as a career option for young people; b) provide knowledge and practice of the desirable attributes for and challenges in starting and operating a successful enterprise; c) facilitate the school-to-work transition as a result of a better understanding of functions and operations of enterprises; d) develop positive attitudes towards enterprises and self-employment among the population, by targeting youth.
