2006 contribution to APSDEP

Under the process of transformation to the new Regional Skills and Employability Programme (SKILLS-AP), the main objectives of APSDEP Project year 2006-07 were to work closely with its key donors and strategic partners to address skills issues in the region in a strategic and coherent way. Main activities: KOICA/APSDEP Training Course on Computer-Aided Instruction; ILO/SKILLS-AP/Japan Regional Technical Meeting on Developing Skills and Employability for Young People in Asia and the Pacific; ILO/SKILLS-AP/Japan/TESDA Regional Technical Meeting on Skills Development for Economic Empowerment and Poverty Reduction; ILO/SKILLS-AP/Japan/Regional Technical Meeting on Developing National Skill Strategies; and skills development for poverty reduction and economic empowerment (long-term project).
