Decent Work Country Programmes and Results-Based Management: Strengthening Core ILO Capacity – PROGRAM & CODEV component
This project is designed to accelerate application of results-based management (RBM) in the ILO. It emphasizes country programming in the framework of UN reform. It targets the ILO’s staff and constituents, -governments and representatives of employers’ and workers’ organizations, in order to strengthen their capacity to understand and participate in the various stages of results-based decent work country programmes. The project's immediate objectives are as follows: 1. ILO constituents in countries participate and engage in results-based decent work country programmes. 2. ILO staff effectively applies results-based decent work country programmes. 3. The findings and recommendations from regular and periodic evaluation of decent work country programmes support their further development. The project makes full use of ILO internal capacities to support results-based programming within the ILO’s global strategic policy framework and biennial programme and budgeting process, to mobilize resources and integrate ILO action around a prioritized set of shared national commitments, and to apply credible review and evaluation practices to improve the impact of our work through our partners.
