At the local level, the project components are: · removal and rehabilitation, · provision of educational alternatives, and · income generation for families. The project develops action programmes in five states targeting: hazardous agricultural activities work in the informal economy, child domestic labour, sexual exploitation for commercial purposes, cultivation of drugs and drug trafficking. A total of 4,000 girls and boys are targeted for withdrawal and prevention from exploitative and/or hazardous work through the provision of educational services following direct action from the project.
