Promoting Freedom of Association and the Effective Recognition of the Right to Collective Bargaining in EPZ and Agriculture
The main objective of this project is to produce two global tools aimed at enhancing ILO constituents’ capacity to promote freedom of association and collective bargaining in the agriculture sector and the EPZs. Accordingly, the project will implement a two fold strategy based on combining extensive global research and pilot testing activities in different regions around the world. The final versions of the global tools will be edited, translated and widely disseminated in a number of different countries to be identified. The project will be managed by a Chief Technical Adviser (CTA) based in Geneva. This project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and will be implemented from 2009 to 2011.
