Capacity Development of the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (FPCCIA) - Inception Phase
This proposal is designed in the context of an envisaged multi-annual partnership between FPCCIA, SIDA and the ILO. It’s overall objective aims at supporting the Federation to fully realize its role, mandated by law, as representing the Palestinian private sector in its broadest constituency, and as a coordinator and a service provider to the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, for the ultimate benefit of their member establishments and the overall private sector in the occupied Palestinian territories. The 6 month project is designed as the inception phase for a longer-term engagement. It would allow, through the appropriate information consolidation and analysis, consensus building, and preliminary capacity building, to formalize a full-fledged project of capacity development for the Federation. Upon its completion, a project proposal designed with the participation of all Chambers, the Federation as well as other key stakeholders will have been designed. In this process, the key baseline data and information required for the second phase of the partnership will have been assembled, allowing for swift transition into implementation.
