Ninth Actuarial Review of the National Insurance Scheme of Grenada as of 31 December 2009

The project proposes to assist the Government of Grenada, as represented by the National Insurance Scheme (N.I.S), to conduct the9th actuarial review with the valuation date at 31 December 2009. The two outputs of the project include: 1. An ILO technical report on the 9th actuarial review of the NIS of Grenada as of 31 December 2009. The report will cover all benefit branches covered by the Social Security Act, namely long-term benefits, short-term benefits and employment injury insurance benefits. 2. Capacity building The ILO will support the NIS staff in the updating of the ILO projection. The training activities will be done in conjunction with a mission which will present the report.
