Youth to Youth Fund (Fonds Pour les Jeunes par les Jeunes), Guinée

UNIDO, UNDP, UNICEF and YEN are part of an inter-agency program for youth employment in Guinea funded by the Peace Building Fund. YEN is managing com-ponent 1 of the program, which is a competitive grant scheme for youth employment. The grant scheme supports innovative, small scale youth employment projects submitted by youth led organizations. Grants of 5,000 to 20,000 USD will be awarded to proposals chosen by a review team of technical specialists and a selection committee based on predefined criteria. The grant scheme will serve to support community-based public works projects which should preferably lead to self employment following the end of the grant period. The youth-led projects are expected to reach out across the country and promote political stability in Guinea.
