Better Work Indonesia

The Better Work Indonesia project seeks to imporving working conditions and productivity in targeted employment.intensive sectors. It will do it by improving compliance with international core labour standards and Indonesian labour law. In tandem, the project will promote productivity and comptetiveness of enterprises in Indonesia that are linked to the global supply chains, with an initial focus on the apparel industry in the Greater Jakarta area, and later a possibility of expansion to other industries and geografic areas. The aim is a) to replace duplication of social audits with independent enterprise assessments, b) to provide enterprises with advisory training services, c) ensure long-term sustainable solutions
