International Labour Migration: A Post-Crisis Perspective - "Sharing good practices" Workshop

Project GLO/10/09/ITA "International Labour Migration: A Post-Crisis Perspective - "Sharing good practices" Workshop is a one-and-a-half day event appointed for 31 May and 1 June 2010 for the organization of a workshop in Turin. The tripartite Workshop is to be organized by ILO Turin Centre in coordination with MIGRANT and the Forum Internazionale ed Europeo di Ricerche sull'Immigrazione (FIERI), with the support of the Brazilian and Italian governments for 60 participants from 20 countries. The workshop aims to review best practices and measures regarding the protection of migrant workers, good governance of labour migration and enhance migration and development synergies, following the economic crisis. The total budget for this activity is US$172,571.
