Improving access to employment and social protection for Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen employability and social protection for Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon, over a period of 24 months. Specific objectives include: 1. To develop a reliable and objective information base on Palestinian employment and social protection in Lebanon in all its aspects 2. To advocate for legislative and policy changes in relation to access to employment, social protection and decent work through dialogue, at both policy and grassroots levels. The target groups will be Employer organizations, professional associations, Palestinian and Lebanese workers organizations, civil society actors, Lebanese government representatives, Lebanese decision makers, media representatives (all: 150 participants in dif. activities), Palestinians Refugees in or willing to join the labour market in Lebanon (through dif. printed outputs: 3,000). Final beneficiaries include Palestinians refugees working informally or willing to join the Lebanese labour market and their dependant family members
