The Youth to Youth Fund for Sierra Leone
The Youth to Youth Fund is a competitive grant and capacity build-ing scheme for youth led organizations to propose innovative project ideas on how to promote youth employment and develop entrepreneurship amongst their peers. The grant scheme will support innovative, small scale youth em-ployment projects submitted by youth led organizations. Grants of 10,000 to 40,000 USD will be awarded to proposals chosen by a review team of technical specialists and a selection committee, based on predefined criteria. The proposal is based on experiences made with a pilot grant scheme implemented in 2009/2010 in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Cote d’Ivoire. Lessons learned from the first round will be ap-plied to this round of the Youth to Youth Fund.
