The teaching of Masters courses (academic year 2010-11) for the Social Policy Financing and Social Policy Design Masters programme

The project will provide assistance to the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance of the Maastricht University (UM) in the framework of the joint UM/ILO Master course in Public Policy and Human Development, specialization Social Policy Financing (SPF) as well as the specialization in Social Policy Design (SPD). The standard courses (1) and (2) will be taught during academic year 2010/2011 according to the established University schedule in the form of one four-week block and one six-week (part-time) block by two groups of two senior experts for each of the courses. Course (3) will be taught during academic year 2010/2011 according to the established University schedule in the form of one six-week (part-time) block by one group of senior experts. The ILO will teach one part of this course, i.e. one three-week block (part-time) by one senior expert. The other three-week block (part-time) will be taught by the University of Maastricht. The part to be taught by the University of Maastricht does not form part of this contract. A schedule is attached in Annex 1. The project will deliver: - revised versions of the course block-books (i.e. annotated outlines of the courses); - course teaching, including the formulation of, and subsequent correction of final exams.
