Establish legal services for entertainment and sex workers in Cambodia
Executive Summary This is a UNAIDS PAF project to establish legal services for entertainment and sex workers in Cambodia. The main activities of the project are as follows 1. Establish a legal service for sex and entertainment workers with appropriate institutional structure and mechanism 2. Improve understanding of legal rights among entertainment and sex workers 3. Establish and nurture a team of para-legal case workers in Phnom Penh and at the sub-national level to ensure sex and entertainment workers have access to legal services 4. Engage relevant partners in the sex and entertainment work for legal service including with at risk population community partnership teams in hotspots, networks of sex and entertainment workers and technical assistance providers 5. Advocate rights-based approaches to legal services with strategic partners in the Royal government of Cambodia including MoH/NCHADS, MoJ and MoI, Department of Police.
