Promoting company values and healthy lifestyles as an entry point to introduce HIV interventions in workplaces in the BPO industry
Executive Summary This UNAIDS PAF for the Philippines is executed by ILO in collaboration with WHO, UNDP and UNAIDS Secretariat. The project aims at promoting company values and healthy lifestyles as an entry point to introduce HIV interventions in workplaces in the BPO industry of the Philippines. Specifically, it includes 1. Conducting high level CEO advocacy to engage programme paratners 2. Baseline study and policy framework formulation on HIV and healthy lifestyle programme in the workplace 3. Capacity building on development of HIV policy and programme for focal persons of selected 5 BPO companies 4. Developmetn and field testing of BCC strategy and materials in selected companies. The occupational health and safety centre of the Department of Labour and Employment and Business Processing Association of the Philippines will be partner to collaboration in the implementation of this project. The activities will be consistent with Recommendation 200.
