Provision of support for the revitalization of the Palestinian Fund for employment and social protection

The aim of the Palestinian Fund for Employment and Social Protection is to provide support for the implementation of active labour market policies and measures in the occupied Palestinian territory. Established with ILO technical assistance, the reactivation of the Fund is seen as a priority for the Palestinian Authority. The Fund will ensure provision of active employment and business-oriented services to support economic activity and promote employment. It will be used as a means for the management of various programmes, promoting synergies between existing Government labour market policies and their instrumental vehicles.
