Governing Labour Standards in the Chinese Electronics Manufacturing Industry: Labour Market Institutions and Governance of Global Value Chains

The research project aims to produce a map of changing labour market governance in the Chinese end of the global production chain of the global electronics manufacturing industries, by examining changing interface, relations and identities between and within the various stakeholders, and also by examining changing roles of different tools of governance such as laws and regulations at national and local level, collective agreements, collective actions and CSR.
