Global Product -Disability

Irish Aid funding will support the ILO Global Product on Disability Inclusion which will form be part of the management response to recommendations in the final independent evaluation of disability-related projects in Phase 3 of the ILO/IA PP. The Global Product will support country level activities to be proposed under Phase 4 of the ILO/IA PP, through the development of practical tools for advocacy, policy advice and capacity building; through collaboration with ILO and other UN partners on approaches to the gathering of comprehensive statistics on the labour market situation of persons with disabilities; the establishment and strengthening of a recognised network of Disability Equality Training (DET) facilitators; the development of impact indicators; and the delivery of training programmes in collaboration with the International Training Centre, Turin.
