Global Product - Forced Labour

The proposed action aims at facilitating programming of Irish Aid funding allocated to support the elimination of forced labour. Total approved funding is around US$ 4.7 million over a period of 4 years, and a significant part of it will be decentralized to support country-based action. Priority will be given to Asia as this is the region with the highest incidence of forced labour, according to ILO estimates. The inception phase will support consultations with national stakeholders and ILO field offices in order to ensure a coherent approach based on country-specific needs.
