Promoting Rights and Opportunities for People with Disabilities through legislation

Promoting Rights and Opportunities for People with Disabilities in Employment through Legislation (PROPEL- Ethiopia) will focus on promoting disability rights and the inclusion of persons with disabilities, by enabling the Ethiopian Government, social partners and disability advocates to be actively engaged in the implementation of the UN Convention on teh Rights of Persons with Disabilities and relevant national policies and laws. It will also share the good practices in Ethiopia in disability rights legislation, inclusion and CRPD implementation with other African countries as an example of good practice of the process of moving towards a disability-inclusive society. A focus will be placed on working with the media to further the project’s objective of disability inclusion and the promotion of rights for persons with disabilities in Ethiopia,
