Apoyo a la implementation del Plan de Accion para el Empleo de Personas Jovenes en El Salvador

The project aims to advance the inclusion of young people in the world of work, therefore, its direct result is related to global indicator 2.5. The project's development Objective is the following: 'The country implements actions to increase the employability of young people through actions from the Ministry of Labour, able to adapt according to results of social dialogue'. The project has four immediate objectives, and namely: 1: Strengthened capacities of the Salvadoran government to promote communication and coordination among stakeholders towards the implementation and dissemination of actions to promote employment for young men and women. 2: Proposal articulating the services of MTPS and others to model "one stop shop" of care for young people. 3: Developed a framework for promoting youth employment through internships, apprenticeship and entrepreneurship. 4: Capacity of the organizations of employers and workers on promoting youth employment from the perspective of equal opportunities between men and women have been strengthened. The logical framework is aligned to the levels set in the National Action Plan on Youth Employment, and is consistent with government priorities established in the Five Year Development Plan, likewise, seeks to support the processes of consolidation of strategies poverty reduction and attention to vulnerable groups. he proposal emphasizes the importance of implementing specific actions to help create conditions of equality between men and women under the plan, not depending on it.
