Support to the joint UN Social Protection Floor Initiative –sustained advocacy, interagency coordination and country activities for the social protection floor (phase II)

The project aims at supporting the Social Protection Floor initiative to advance in this direction through a) Improved coordination of the members of the SPF-I coalition a. 3rd coalition meeting b. Institutionalization of the SPF idea c. South-South Conference on exchanging ongoing/emerging SPF experiences. b) Operationalization of the SPF activities through assessment based national dialogues in additional countries as requested a. Support SPF UN task teams and/or national inter-ministerial SPF groups including social partners and key national stakeholders and/or national discussion on the SPF b. Conduct 6 assessment-based national dialogues to support the potential development of national SPF strategies c. Capacity building of officials and key stakeholders responsible for the planning and implementation of SPF activities c) Sustained advocacy a. SPF policy briefs, newsletters, etc. b. SPF website
