Development grant facility: promoting youth employment and employability
The overall objectives of the Partnership are to build and disseminate evidence on youth employment outcomes and proven methods to improve them in the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions. DGF funding has allowed YEN to provide input to the youth employment evidence gap through the development of capacity building services in impact evaluation, the continued expansion of rigorous information on youth development incomes and the production of public evidence sharing and dissemination models. In FY13, YEN will ensure sustainability and increased outreach of these products supported by the DGF by working with local partners to build their capacity to takeover and replicate and improve the quality and rigor of the models. In addition, with FY13 activities, YEN will contribute to a better understanding of what works to improve labor market outcomes of young people and further dissemination among policymakers and practitioners.
