Training Project on Employment and Skills Development – Phase II

The extended project will reinforce the ILO/Japan joint development cooperation efforts to the advantage of the two parties and their respective constituents. More specifically, by strengthening the ITCILO training offer (learning platforms and courses) in the Employment Policies and Skills Development area, the project will contribute to enhance long-term national capacity to deal with policy and operational aspects relevant to this area. Through the direct involvement of one of its officials in project implementation, the MHLW of Japan will benefit from international exposure and peer-to-peer exchanges. The Japanese expert will have the opportunity to gain further knowledge on employment and skills development subject matters, as well as on the training cycle (and the different phases of it, from training needs assessment to evaluation of training) and adult learning methodologies and practices.
