Employable Skills Development for Improved Livelihoods of North Waziristan IDPs

• Provide technical support to UNDP ‘Community Resilience Programme’ in carrying out a Labour Market and Training Needs Assessment study for NWA IDPs and Host Communities; • Organize employable skills training for women and men IDPs and Host Communities for enabling them to earn livelihoods during their stay in Bannu as well as participate in the upcoming reconstruction and rehabilitation processes; • Partner with selected Implementing Partners of UNDP ‘Community Resilience Programme’ for selection of appropriate trainees and facilitate vocational training courses; • Providing a source of income to IDPs thus reducing burden on resources of the Government and hosting areas by provision of additional working hands and reducing dependency syndrome
