Ensuring a Gender-responsive approach to Decent Work – Cambodia

The gender component of the ILO/Sida Partnership Agreement (PA) will be focused on work related to gender and women’s empowerment in selected countries leading to results linked to and reportable under the Program and Budget 2016-17 (P&B). Consequently the specific outputs and activities are framed within the structure of the P&B, namely Outcome 4 (Promoting Sustainable Enterprises), 6 (Formalization of the Informal Economy) and 8 (Protecting Workers for Unacceptable Forms of Work). The project will advance the four priorities of the ILO’s Women at Work Centenary Initiative (W@W) namely: increasing women’s access to work; making work pay; women, work and care; and combatting violence at work. It will provide targeted, results-oriented support on one or more of the W@W priorities to ILO constituents in Cambodia, Cote d’Ivoire, Jordan and in the Latin American region.
