Support GSP+ beneficiary countries to effectively implement ILS and comply with reporting obligations.
The project aims at strengthening the realization of fundamental principles and rights at work in Mongolia. The action in Mongolia is designed with a specific attention to conditions of work in small and medium-sized enterprises. The project assists the tripartite constituents (specifically the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the General Agency of Specialized Inspection, the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions, the Mongolian Employers’ Federation) and stakeholders (the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia) to organise and engage workers and employers in the informal economy in social dialogue and labour-related policy process. It is expected that by the end of the project, Mongolia will have an improved legal and regulatory framework that accords operators in the informal economy the right to organize and engage in collective bargaining and greater national capacities to address labour rights in small and medium enterprises.
