Vision Zero Fund Myanmar
The objective of the Vision Zero Fund (VZF) is to work towards the vision of zero fatal and severe work-related injuries and diseases. The Fund therefore aims to reduce the number of fatal and severe accidents and occupational diseases in developing countries by improving occupational safety and health practices and conditions in sectors that link to global supply chains. Myanmar has been chosen as the first pilot country for VZF. The project will initially focus on the garment sector, and be extended during subsequent phases to other sectors. During the inception phase, the project document, budget and workplan will be developed in close coordination with ILO's constituents, stakeholders and partners.
