Support the implementation of the sustainability compact – Phase II

The propject aims at the monitoring results relating to commitments of the Sustainability Compact for Continuous Improvements in Labour Rights and Factory Safety in the Bangladesh Ready-Made Garment and Knitwear Industry. The implementation includes: 1) Advancing and reviewing progress in implementation of the Compact commitments 2) Identifying unmet needs of Bangladesh that would require additional assistance to implement Compact commitments The project support will result in the availability of information that will be useful to make informed decisions regarding the implementation of the Compact in terms of 1) progress, 2) the provision/funding of assistance and 3) policy interventions.
