Peer review of the actuarial valuation conducted by the Iranian Social Security Organization as at 31 December 2015

The project delivers an ILO report on the actuarial valuations of long-term benefits administered by the Iranian Social Security Organization (ISSO), namely old age pension, total and partial disability pension and survivor pension. The final report will make recommendations arising from actuarial valuation results and in accordance with ILO standards and worldwide agreed social security principles. Moreover, ILO’s technical assistance will include a peer review of the actuarial valuation of long term benefits conducted by ISSO as well as a capacity building aspect on actuarial and statistical capacity for the ISSO staff to support future actuarial valuations and social security reforms.
