UN Joint Programme of Support on AIDS in Uganda-II

Uganda UN Joint Programme of Support on HIV and AIDS (2016-2020) In the context of the Joint Programme of Support, a MoU has been signed between IRISHAID and UNDP to support the HIV response in Uganda. In this framework, the ILO will deliver on scaling up HIV workplace policies and programs and mobilize the private sector. This will be done through: -Mobilization and capacity building of private sector organizations to develop and implement HIV&AIDS workplace policy and programmes with a focus on ASRHR -Capacity building and provision of technical guidance and financing to implement and monitor anti stigma and human rights guideline -Development and promotion of social protection community-based models for enhancing economic livelihoods for households affected by HIV&AIDS and other vulnerable households
