Emplois et métiers verts

The ILO-AfD collaboration on Green Jobs supports primary research on Skills for Green Jobs in three countries: Brazil, Indonesia and South Africa. A joint research team by the ILO´s Green Jobs Programme, the Research Department and the Skills and employability branch was set up with the objective to cover up to 28 countries and produce a second edition of the volume “Global Review: Skills for Green Jobs” in 2018. The research methodology will follow the one adopted for the 2011 research study, while the European Centre for Training, CEDEFOP, produces a complementary analysis covering six European countries that were included in the 2011 report. In addition, the research contributes to a chapter to the ILO´s flagship report World Employment and Social Outlook (WESO) 2018. A video and knowledge sharing products will also be produced to disseminate the results.
