Better Work Training for Business Partners: Pilot Phase

One of the key pillars of Better Work’s strategy for 2017-2022 is to scale its impact. As part of this vision, Better Work will provide training and advisory services to buyers and manufacturers at the global level to enable them to drive improvements across their supply chains beyond Better Work factories and countries. The programme also commits to ensuring vendors, agents and large transnational supplier groups are able to replicate applicable Better Work approaches in their own factories as well as their supply chains. To deliver on these goals, Better Work proposes to adapt its existing training programmes and re-brand them as the “Better Work Academy”. The target audience for the first 2 years is Better Work buyer partners’ internal compliance and sourcing teams. Following this first 2-year pilot phase, training will be offered to participants from vendors, agents and large transnational supplier groups.
