Statistics on women’s work and employment and time use

This project covers two main topics where guidance on good practices for statistical measurement of work, employment and labour underutilization are needed. The first topic relates to provision of guidance on implementation of international standards on work, employment and labour underutilization in different types of household surveys. The second topic relates to provision of guidance for measurement of time use. Guidance on both topics will contribute to longer term efforts to achieve better measurement of women’s participation in all forms of work, paid and unpaid.
