The Future of Work in Information and Communication Technology

The objective of the project is to compile, examine and disseminate information on specific trends of the ICT sector at global and country levels to enhance decent work. The project will support the development of a global analysis of current trends in the digital economy, taking into account the situation of women and youth. The analysis will focus on anticipated demand fo ICT skills in the future; most effective ways to scale up ICT skills development; and, measures to ensure greater mobility of skilled workers as well as to improve working conditions in global supply chains of the ICT industry.
