UNV/ILO Partnership for the Measurement of Volunteer Work

An established joint programme by ILO and UNV to advance implementation of the statistical standards on volunteer work by countries from all world regions. Accumulated experience identified and practical tools developed by ILO to scale-up country activities in the measurement of volunteer work. A network of experts and interested partners on measurement of volunteer work is established and a special event held at the 20th ICLS to raise awareness about the progress to date and new practical tools. A multi-country project drafted to support testing and inclusion of volunteer work modules in LFS by strategic partner countries from different world regions in advance of the 2020 Forum.
