Egypt Youth Employment (EYE): Jobs and Private Sector Development in Rural Egypt

The overall objective of the project is leveraging private sector investment in the rural eocnomy of Egypt and supporting entrepreneurship and skills development in rural communities particularly for youth, including small-scale producers and entrepreneurs, by: Increased awareness and capacity of stakeholders to address opportunities and challenges for the promotion of decent jobs in specific economic sectors in rural Egypt; Decent work opportunities promoted along selected (sub) sector/value chains in rural Egypt; MSMEs enabled/upgraded to contribute to targeted (sub-) sectors/value chains development interventions in rural Egypt by gaining access to necessary business development services and financial services.
