Promoting Decent Work Opportunities for Non-Syrian Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Turkey

The overall objective of the project is to enhance the knowledgebase on refugees, in particular non-Syrians, and to contribute to their livelihoods and access to decent work in Turkey. As part of on-going PRM-funded project on “Improving Labour Market Integration of Syrian Refugees and Host Communities in Turkey”, institutional and technical capacities at local and national levels are being strengthened for provision of quality employment services for Syrian refugees and host community members; labour market integration of Syrian refugees and host communities is being enhanced through improving the enabling environment for employability and job creation; awareness of Syrian refugees, host communities, employers and wider stakeholders is being raised on relevant legislation and the importance of formal work and enhancing the knowledge-base through studies and research.
