Promoting Decent Work in Automobile Dismantling Sector in Fiji

The project intends to protect natural environment from pollution caused by increasing scrapped cars abandoned in the field by promoting sustainable operations of automobile dismantling sector in Fiji. More decent jobs will be created in the expansion of car dismantling sector in Fiji by promoting occupational safety and health conditions of workers as well as facilitating communication between the waste management administration of the Government and employers and workers involved in the sector.
