Supporting the implementation of the roadmap on tackling undeclared work in Greece

The present ILO project aims at supporting the implementation of the roadmap on tackling undeclared work in Greece by undertaking and supporting the completion of some of the recommendations included in the Roadmap, and by supporting the Tripartite Committee in coordinating the implementation of the roadmap. Taking into account the importance of tackling undeclared work in Greece, the improvements made in the last 12 months through the ILO project funded by the EU and the consensus reached about the Action plan to tackle undeclared work, it is urgent and crucial to support the implementation of the Action plan. Such support will strengthen trust and cooperation among the Government and the social partners to find an effective, balanced path to fight undeclared work. All stakeholders acknowledged the positive role played by the ILO in that process and they stressed the need for a continuation of the ILO support to implement the roadmap.
