International Study on Social Dialogue

The goal of the Global Deal Flagship Report is to provide an international portrait of the state of social dialogue to identify challenges and opportunities, promote exchange of ideas and experiences, discuss joint projects and solutions and provide solid evidence to policy-makers and stakeholders. It will work as the follow-up for the Global Deal partnership gathering positive examples of work on social dialogue and sound industrial relations frompartners.. It will showcase the voluntary commitments to the Global Deal by partners. The Report will build a strong case for social dialogue as a fundamental driver of decent work, inclusive growth and sustainable development more broadly emphasising the Global Deal as a partnership in line with sustainable development goal 17 and as a concrete input to several other goals. It will identify policies and other measures that can enhance the positive contribution of social dialogue to sustainable development with a focus on decent work and inclusive growth.
