Support efforts to combat child labor and improve working conditions in agriculture in Dominican Republic

The overall objective of the project is to support the efforts of the Government of Dominican Republic and key stakeholders to combat child labour and improve working conditions in agriculture., through building the capacity of MOL, workers’ organizations (National Confederation of Dominican Workers – CNTD, National Confederation of Trade Union Unity- CNUS, Autonomous Confederation of Worker’s Unions - CASC) and employers’ organizations (COPARDOM, agricultural producers), and strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders including PROSOLI, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Council for Children and Adolescents – CONANI, National Institute of Technical – Vocational Training - INFOTEP, as well as potentially other State institutions (such as the Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Statistics, the Migration Directorate, the National Institute for Migration), civil society organizations, and development partners.
