Mainstreaming Impact Insurance Globally

The ILO’s Impact Insurance Facility develops inclusive insurance markets globally through a structured approach that promotes a sustainable model for building capacity. Through our capacity building programme, we enable hundreds of practitioners to benefit from best practices and cross-country experiences, indirectly enabling millions of low-income people to benefit from valuable insurance solutions over the next five years. Through this partnership, the GBG Foundation contributes to the ILO’s Impact Insurance Facility broader capacity building programme, which is based in four main components: (1) providing capacity building and certification of local trainers from four countries, (2) supporting training delivery and integration of ILO training courses in the portfolio of local training providers, (3) converting the content of face-to-face modules into e-learning courses to democratize access to capacity building, and (4) developing new trainings module.
