Technical Support to the Programme Support Unit of the National Employment and Empowerment Programme (NEEP) in Jordan

ILO will work with the Programme Support Unit of the National Employment and Empowerment Programme (NEEP) to set up a coordination mechanism between existing Active Labour Market Programmes, with a strong focus on young men and women in Jordan. Under the Ministry of Labour, the ILO will support the establishment and functioning of a Project Support Unit (PSU) which will lead and coordinate the NEEP implementation. In particular the PSU will be tasked to ensure the accountability of the NEEP, and the traceabilitiy of its results. It will advice the Ministry on the most relevant policy to support the creation of decent employment in Jordan, based on international labour standards and international good practices.
