Support to the Labour Law Reform in the Occupied Palestinian Territory
The project enhances the capacity of government and social partners on international labour standards and negotiation; and to develop a legislative policy to guide the labour law reform efforts. The ultimate beneficiaries of the project will comprise the workers and employers in the Palestinian labour market. However, given the importance of the reform process, it was agreed that the reform process will not be confined to the tripartite constituents, but also include consultations with concerned civil society groups, academics and other stakeholders. This premise is reflected in the outputs envisaged to be implemented under the project.
