Support to UNICEF Mothers@Work programme

UN agency to UN agency contribution agreement from UNICEF to ILO to support salaries and travel costs of 2 Better Work enterprise advisors to implement activities in factories enrolled in the Mothers@Work programme. Key activities include, among other things: • Manage the roll out of the Mothers@Work programme; • Provide enterprise level consultancy services to improve enterprise performance; • Orient other Enterprise Advisor colleagues to assess the implementation of 7 minimum standards in the RMG factories; • Select and adapt and contextualise Better Work and Mothers@Work products for use at the individual enterprise level based on needs; • Provide technical advice and input into the development of BW and M@W research, products and strategies; • Support factories to develop functioning Participation and Safety Committees and to develop their self-improvement plan; • Support capacity building of enterprises to implement Mothers@Work; • Facilitate Mother at Work enrolment seminars as well as advocacy meetings and workshops with international brands; • Collaborate with the technical support consortium team (TSC); • Etc.
